Dispute at Cheshire West and Chester Council may lead to union action

A UNION has not ruled out industrial action if Cheshire West and Chester Council sacks its workforce to rehire everybody on “worse” terms and conditions.

Letters to 10,000 staff, excluding teachers, explain the proposed changes which the authority says will harmonise contracts across the four predecessor authorities.

My comment: I wonder if this includes the Chief Executive and other senior officers?I some how doubt it!
